Our Professional Misconduct Department is a dedicated team within our Practice, specialising in representing professionals facing allegations of crime or misconduct, those involved in post-incident procedures, and individuals engaged in proceedings before HM Coroner or Courts Martial, both within the UK and internationally.

Our Team provides comprehensive representation for a range of clients, including Police Officers, members of HM Armed Forces, Medical Professionals, and Lawyers, from the initial investigation and interview stages through to court proceedings and appeals, whether related to criminal, misconduct, or performance issues, or as witnesses where necessary.

The Department is led by our Founder Partner, Stephen Elliott, a highly experienced and specialised lawyer who is recognised as a key contact for numerous Police Forces and other professional bodies. All members of our Team are qualified, accredited Solicitors or Police Station Representatives, including former full-time Police Federation Representatives and Police Officers. Our Team delivers legal advice and representation across England & Wales.

From the first call informing us of a case requiring our attention, we offer comprehensive support throughout the entire process, up to and including potential Crime or Misconduct Appeals. In cases of exceptional complexity or seriousness where a Barrister is needed, we have strong connections with the leading Chambers in the UK and only instruct the most experienced and accredited individuals to handle such specialised work.

To provide the best representation, our Team has travelled to Cyprus, for interviews, post-incident procedures, and Courts Martial.
